How to simply add images in pages ?

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for a CMS for a friend which need a end-user friendly admin interface.
    I like much the power of TangoCMS (even if it's not always "easy to find menus"); but I didn't find how to easy add images to pages.

    You can easyly add images from url, but how do you add images from your computer ? Is it to be done using the media section like this : so leave the admin panel, go to the media page, add an image, go back to admin, add a page and type the image url taken from media section ?

    It looks strange to me, maybe I missed something...

    Hi there,

    The editor in the latest version doesn't have a file-upload facility, however the upcoming 2.5 (which will most likely be released end of this month) has changed over to using a different editor, which provides us with a file-uploader (we will now be using CKEditor 3.1).

    That would be perfect ! I like the simple admin interface and the general cleaness feeling I get with this tool.
    Hope It'll be ready for the end of the month : I'm discussing with some people looking for tha kind of tool (I won't be the end-user, I'm the software expert;)

    Hi, ive downloaded the latest version but cannot see how to upload images? Was this function implemented?

    Hi Kboo,

    Unfortunately we didn't switch to CKEditor yet ... however, the next version (2.7) will have CKEditor with upload feature.
