Turn off Comments

    I don't wish to have the comment option available for a site. I see several places to turn off other display options like sharing in the article interface. Does the same exist for comments?

    Sure, just disable the comments module :) Go to the Module Manager, and then Manage Modules from there you can disable it.

    Unfortunately not, it's either on or off for all.
