Hi Admin, I am using your CMS and it is outstanding. I am making a Home Page where i want to include a Contect form. Can i use a contect form which has been made in contect module, in a page.

Hi. I just started seriosly using tango but I can only develope on my local machine with no internet access. I tried searching but failed to find out how to stop loading jqyery from googleapi. before I can really do anything I need jquery to work. I found the functions but have no idea where they are called. any help is appreciated and I'm sorry if there's another topic such as this one. tried searching on my phone

Edit: I wont hold my breath for an answer - probably is another one of those communities. I just hard coded false on googlecdn in theme.php and I got what I want. its not the ideal answer I wanted but whatever

Multiple to email addresses for contact form

Is there a way to add more than one email address to submit the contact form contents to? In the "Email Address - Enter the email address that this form will get emailed to." field it does not recognize more than one address as valid (i.e. 2 or more addresses comma separated). Client wants to have form submitted to herself + her manager.

which file should I edit to remove the divclass articleCategories?
I dont want to have the categories above the articles :)

Lets start with the problem i had. When i upload a media the file exists but it doesn shows on my page its blank but the uploaded file exists in my directory ( tangocms-2.6.1\assets\uploads\media\3\image ). this was my problem,

if there is someone with the same problem, here is how to solve this problem.

1. Go to this directory and open with notepad or whatever you use ... media.php (tangocms-2.6.1\application\modules\media\models),
2. Go to Line 370 if you see this code we are ok --> } while( true ); <---
so then go to line 371 and paste this code

--> $explode_fname = explode('/',$filename);
$explode_thname = explode('/',$thumbnail);
$n_fname = $explode_fname[count($explode_fname)-2]."/".$explode_fname[count($explode_fname)-1];
$th_fname = $explode_thname[count($explode_thname)-2]."/".$explode_thname[count($explode_thname)-1];

it worked for me so if someone uses this Inform me if it worked for you... Thank you.

Please, i just found a workaround for the login system i talked about.
But,the article headline is not displaying instead a blank page is always displayed.

Then Please my rss is not working, i enabled but it's not showing..

I've installed Tango CMS 2.6.1 , running it on windows2003/apache2.2/php-5.3.8(included FileInfo).I upload a picture show me 'Added new media item' ,but the picture is not displayed(Thumbnail is black picture). I found the uploaded file is exist 'assets/uploads' directory.
Tell me how to fix it,Pls.

Hello, Every one.
Through past month I have installed a lot of Open Source CMS Systems , to start some study about their features and functions, this is first time I installed TangoCMS and I found that It is Awesome one. I understand that the TangoCMS have enabled the Multi-language feature in version 2.4. I want to share my try in Enable Arabic interface of TangoCMS. and I Hope that TangoCMS team will help us in these steps or correct me if there is any problem in my method.

I think we have to understand TangoCMS Structure Before any modifications. I want to discuss this under the TangoCMS 2.6.1 let us start.

- First of all, I have downloaded ".mo" files, from the launchpad, where TangoCMS team post their project for translation purposes.

I have downloaded the .mo files , of Arabic language
- I extracted the launchpad file "launchpad-export.tar.gz" and I found "ar" language directory
- I copy the "ar" directory for Arabic Language

- I Explore TangoCMS on web server , IIS under the root directory I found this folder :
"root_directory/TangoCMS_directory/application/locale/"
I found "index.html" , I think this for security purposes.

- In this directory "locale" I past "ar" language directory.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- So it will be like this
"root_directory/TangoCMS_directory/application/locale/lang_directory_name/LC_MESSAGES"
e.g. "root_directory/TangoCMS_directory/application/locale/ar/LC_MESSAGES"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was logged into AdminCP ->settings->Locale
under Locale (i18n)
we can install the new language interface into system using
"Install language package"

I was tried to explore the log directory "tangCMS_directory/application/logs"

I found the log file "2011-08-31_zula.log"

[2011-08-31T01:44:32+03:00] [::1 | uid 2] [warning] -- (unknown:0) failed to get list of locales, check "allow_url_fopen"

I checked this feature (allow_url_fopen) in php.ini files and I found it enabled.

Session related and other aliases

I want to completely move the session module from the homepage to another menu item that will basically be for session.

then after signin in, i want it to display the admincp. being doin som tweakin...thought i will be able to move different module into any page i so wish..not just content attached to the menu

Then, Please whenever i click on my article title, instead of it to display the particular article, it brings a blank page, but if i click on the article category (e.g General, or any category i'v created), it displays the category.Pls, why?

Inserting Image / Uploading Media Fail.

Hi there,

I've installed Tango CMS just fine, im running it on MYSQL PHPmyAdmin. I cant get the upload form for media items to work, when i upload an item i get an error at the top of page "OOops, an error occurred while uploading your files".
Also when trying to insert an image into a page it doesnt show up in the editor or on the main site. Is this due to where the images are saved? This is the only issue stopping my site from going live. I appreciate your advise.
